AQATUKI BIO
AQATUKI is a instrumental band formed in 1997 in industrial area ”Amagasaki”, Japan.
Their music expresses the loudness of factory landscape, played by two guitar and one dub engineer.
The original sound is the true feeling of a combination of human blues and explosion feels like; a vibration that will shake your soul.
Biography
In 1997,
they started with two guitarists thereafter the drummer and bassist joind which formed the original band.
In 1998, they started giggin' at dance clubs when the band got 7 members: two guitars, bass, drums. synthesizer, Didjuridu and a percussion.
In 2007, after two yeas of no gigs
the started again as a trio of two guitars and a drums.
In 2009, the band became 5 piece band and started working for their 1st album released in 2012.
In 2012, when they released 1st album ”AQATUKI” (IQAS MUSIC) which is after became their band name, they started gigs annually over 50 gigs.
In 2015, Kyohji Honjoh(XOYO) joined as a dub engineer and the band became 3 people which released 10 inch' vinyl ”wakanoura” (POIPOIHOUSE) in Aug.
In 2016, after succeeding at their first Asia tour, In September, from RastafeRecordZ, they released 7 inch' vinyl ”NUE!” c/w ”SHOSHUU remixed by Daichi-Based On Kyoto” .
AQATUKI played at Quest Festival in November.

AQATUKI バイオグラフィー
1997年、兵庫県尼崎市にてギターの2人を核として、ベース・ドラムを加えた4人編成のロックバンドとしてスタートする。
98年、7人編成 (ギター×2・ベース・ドラム・シンセサイザー・ディジュリドゥ・パーカッション) となりインストゥルメンタルバンド アカツキとして関西のクラブシーンで活動を開始する。
2005年 ライブ活動を休止。
2007年 2年半の活動休止を経て、ギター×2・ドラムのトリオ編成でライブ活動を再開。
2009年 ギター×2・ドラム×2・ベースの5人編成となり2012年に発売する、実質上のファーストアルバムの礎を築いていく。
2012年 ファーストアルバム AQATUKI (IQAS MUSIC) 発売を期にバンド名をAQATUKIへ変更し、以降年間50本以上のライブ活動を精力的にこなす。
2015年 本荘恭司 (XOYO)がエレクトロニクスで参加し現在のギター×2とエレクトロニクスの3人編成となる。
8月スプリット10インチ ヴァイナル
和歌浦ラプソディ (POIPOIHOUSE)を発売。
2016年 6月初のアジアツアー (タイ、ベトナム)を成功させる。
9月初の7インチ ヴァイナル NUE! / 初秋のまどろみ(remix by Daichi-Based On Kyoto) をRastafeRecordZより発売。
11月QUEST FESTIVALに出演。
